Fees

Our fees were last reviewed in April 2024 – details of fees will be made available to you upon your visit to the Nursery or upon request to the Nursery Manager – thurgolandchildcare@yahoo.co.uk

In addition to an hourly rate, the Additional Charge Fee  includes all meals, drinks, snacks and consumables.   All our meals are prepared daily using fresh ingredients.

The following fees may be applied to your bill in certain circumstances as follows:

A non-refundable Registration Fee is payable and will be included on your first nursery invoice.

A Late Payment Charge  will be incurred if you fail to pay your bill in full by the due date of the 1st of the month and will be charged on your next invoice and subsequent invoices if the amount remains unpaid. If you are experiencing difficulties in paying your invoice at any time please contact Jillian, Finance or Kerry, Nursery Manager to discuss a payment plan to avoid this or subsequent charges being made. Persistent non-payment, or a payment plan not being adhered to may result in your child’s nursery place being suspended.

If you are late collecting your child from Nursery a Late Pickup Charge will apply for every minute past our designated collection time unless you have given notification in difficult circumstances.  You may be requested to sign the register confirming the time you collected your child if you are late. We understand that sometimes this is unavoidable and if at all possible you should phone Nursery to advise them to avoid this charge being made. Please be aware that late pickups impact on the staffing ratios in nursery and in the event of persistent late pick-ups Nursery reserve the right to charge in full for the following hour.

In light of the new funding opportunities for babies, in order to secure your place in the Baby Room at Nursery a Deposit will be charged upon receipt of your registration form – which is non refundable if you do not take up the place.  However, if you take up the place these monies will be refunded after your baby has been in Nursery for a full three months.

Please note 8 Weeks’ Notice needs to be given via email to thurgolandnursery@yahoo.co.uk to permanently cancel any session, request a change of sessions or book holidays (if on a 50-week contract).  The Nursery Manager will confirm if the change can be accommodated and the date the change will take effect.   No Charge will be made for Bank Holidays or Inset Days when the Nursery will be closed.
