Funded Places

Dependent upon your child’s age and your circumstances you may be eligible to apply for funding towards the cost of your childcare – click here to find out more

Children become eligible for funding from the beginning of the following term after they reach the qualifying age ie September, January or Easter.

From April 2024 – toddlers aged 2 were eligible for a 15 hour funded place* and from September 2024 – babies aged 9 months will also be eligible for a 15 hour funded place*  if the qualifying criteria is met.

All 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for a 15 hour funded place but for some working parents who meet the qualifying criteria they may be eligible for a further 15 hours extended funding*

*in the event that you don’t renew your code, when prompted, and your funding is withdrawn Thurgoland Childcare will invoice you for any funding credit given on your invoices that cannot be claimed because the code was not renewed.
